Mark
Lead Singer
Mark is the alpha male that other guys (including Jack Black) want to be. Growing up in New Orleans, his golden singing voice and unmatched skill for playing the drums, tambourine and cowbell led to him leading the world famous DADBOD BAND. His tastes on music and cars have earned the respect of Presidents and other world leaders, who seek his counsel daily on how to make sandwiches for the masses. Mark may be a legend in his own mind but remember this: Kurt Russell won a Mark Livingston lookalike contest.
Tim
Bass | Back-up Vocals | Tech Lead
We know nothing about this man. It is our suspicion that he is in a witness protection plan or some kind of government experiment.
John
Lead Guitar
John was born in a Pittsburgh wrestling ring holding a snake in one hand and a hockey stick in the other. At age 15, he discovered he had the wizard-like power to turn his hockey stick into a guitar and switched from shredding the ice to shredding guitar strings fashioned from the manes of former Kentucky Derby winners. Two years ago, he turned his attention to the plight of empty beer bottles littered on the side of the road, which he turns into glass guitars. Now Jake "The Snake" Roberts asks for John's autograph.
Shannon
Drums | Back-up Vocals
Shannon started playing the drums nearly 50 years ago. Yea…. That long. His parents bought his first drum kit from Montgomery Wards when he was 10 years old.
"I performed my first live appearance when I was about 13 with my dad's 50's rock band. I worked on several projects and recording sessions with him all the way through school until I graduated and wondered off into the sunset to chase my dreams. In addition to that, I performed in my junior high and high school marching and jazz bands. On my off time, I played with several high school garage bands with most of my influence from legendary groups like Journey, Boston, Motley Crue, and so on. As my musical interests grew, I learned to appreciate other types of music and began to play with jazz and big band projects, theater and musical ensembles. Eventually I ventured into the Country market.”
Shannon performed and recorded with Country touring bands through the 90s and 2000s all around the US. After a long stretch in the country market, Shannon dedicated his musical talent to Praise and Worship in 2010 and still serves with his church orchestra every Sunday.
Recently, a chance encounter with bass player Tim Cotto at a DadBod Band show opened a door for an opportunity to, once again, play the music Shannon enjoyed in the 80s and 90s.
